Investment Focus
We consider SMEs located in Somaliland and Somalia with at least one year operating track record in sectors not under UN or EU embargo.
Project Size
Projects ranging from USD $50,000 to $1,200,000. Owners contribute minimum 20% (10% for women-owned businesses) of total project value.
Financing Type
Approved applicants receive funds under Sharia-compliant debt finance agreements with competitive terms and conditions.
Competitive Financing Terms
Term: Up to 5 years (60 months)
Markup/Profit: 6.5% annual (5% for productive sectors, women-owned businesses, and loans under $150,000)
Special Rates: Reduced rates for Agribusiness & Fisheries sectors and female entrepreneurs
Collateral Requirements
Applicants are required to pledge collateral at a minimum of 1.5x extended capital, depending on the specific applicant and business circumstances. Our flexible approach ensures fair assessment for each application.
